The shift flash is already known from motorsport – in Formula 1 it is directly integrated into the steering wheel. LEDs in different colours show the current speed and flash to indicate the optimum shifting time. CANchecked has adopted this concept and designed its own shifting flash module, which can be installed directly in the instrument cluster without reworking. The connection is made via cable to the MFA28 at the intended interface. In the display itself, the 8 LED´s can be configured as required.
