The NM Engineering Downpipe-Back Exhaust System is the ultimate performance upgrade for the F-Chassis MINI. Unlike generic exhaust kits, this system is a full 3-inch, high-flow masterpiece designed to unlock power while maintaining the daily-driver comfort that MINI owners expect.
Constructed entirely from Aerospace-grade T304 Stainless Steel, this system replaces the restrictive factory piping from the downpipe back. By utilizing CNC mandrel bends and a low-restriction resonator, we’ve achieved a dyno-proven 10–14 HP gain while significantly reducing overall vehicle weight.
Tired of the highway “drone” common with aftermarket exhausts? Our Gen3/Gen4 system features a sophisticated Helmholtz Rear Canister. This secondary chamber is specifically engineered to cancel out low-frequency resonance during partial-throttle cruising. The result is a refined, well-rounded exhaust note that remains quiet on the freeway but unleashes a sharp, raspy growl under load. In Sport Mode, the 3-inch diameter tubing perfectly accentuates the signature F-Chassis “pops and burbles.”
